On this blog and in various speeches I have said several times that about 80% of my clients get them through the blog, and this is a fact that often arouses the interest of some bloggers who are not able to attract customers through their blogs. If we analyze the vast majority of blogs that have trouble attracting customers, we will see that they all have in common two factors:
- Files/content/stuff that do not attract customers
- The blog is not optimized for lead generation
If this is the case of your blog, then we will see some tips to get your blog on the radar of your customers:
1. DO NOT WRITE TO COUNTERPARTS
This is a common misconception in the world of blogging. Creating content for homologous or professional, colleagues don’t attract potential customers, only attract other professionals who not surprisingly they will not hire your services, because they spend exactly the same as you . Of course, generating this kind of content you can serve to demonstrate your expertise and position yourself in your industry, but little else.
2. THINK LIKE YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMER
And this is where the vast majority blogs fail, and I’ll show you why.
Good marketing is not to generate content related to the topic of your professional activity content , it is to generate related to your professional activity that is useful to your potential customers (there is a slight difference) content.
I’ll give an example.
Imagine you have a marketing agency and one of the services offered by your agency is managing advertising campaigns in Google Adwords. The mistake here would be to write an article on “How to create an ad on Google Adwords” because you would be attracting people looking for how they create themselves an ad on Google Adwords.
However a good article that will attract potential customers could be one that dealt the “Advantages to advertise your business on Google Adwords”.
In the first article we are giving the keys to an individual or company to advertise on Google Adwords, as it has been clear how they do it will make himself !. In the second article we’re telling the reader what are the benefits you can enjoy from your company if you advertise on search engines, and how likely the company does not know and you’re the expert who talks about these advantages, have more chances of being hired.
3. TRY THE PROBLEMS YOU MAY HAVE YOUR PROSPECT
Check out the articles you post on your blog and always ask yourself am I “attack” directly the problems that my client could have a potential?
Forgive the expression (which is why I put it in quotes), but I can not think right now other way to say it, but surely you understood me perfectly.
Your goal must always be to put in the shoes of your potential customer and treat a problem he may have, so read your articles when you feel completely identified and their best option is to hire it for solvents.

4. OPTIMIZE YOUR BLOG TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS

On the other hand, make sure that you receive these visits will not long from your blog. If you do not attracting subscribers, what are the chances that these visits you get back to go through your blog?
That is why it is so important to capture subscribers to your blog. You have to know your customers will not be those readers who come once in your blog and go, or followers you have on your social profiles; your customers will be those who visit your blog, the captes as leads and over time, and when you earn their trust eventually hiring your services or buying your products.
5. OPTIMIZE YOUR BLOG TEXTS
The word makes all the difference in the texts of selling a company blog or page is the “persuasion”. And it is recommended that you work the copy . No longer serves typical bulleted list indicating your services, that neither you nor sells unlike other blogs that do exactly the same as you.
